FUMC provides many opportunities for youth grades 6-12 to get together in fun and fellowship and volunteering.
Youth group meets every week- come join us!
Middle and High School Youth (grades 6-12) meet in the Fellowship Hall at the church on Sundays from 4pm - 6pm. We will eat together, go upstairs for lesson, and then have time for some games together.
Once or twice a month, we like to get together and have an activity where out youth can gather in fellowship. We watch movies, sing Karaoke at the church, go bowling, and participate in other fun activities. These are great, chill ways of getting introduced to the youth group.
Each year, our youth have the opportunity to go on a Summer Mission Project. These projects give youth the ability to help others with youth from all over the North Central Jurisdiction. Last year our Mission Project took us to Milwaukee, WI from June 22nd-June 28th. This was a great project because it was youth-led and all youth attending had a role and impact on the trip itself. We can’t wait for our next youth mission!
The youth also have opportunities to attend United Methodist Camps & Conferences to foster spiritual growth & leadership in youth. Conferences are offered throughout the year and Camps are offered during the summer.
