Families are an integral part of First United Methodist Church. Families in Progress is dedicated to ministering to young families with or without children. We plan activities and projects that include our annual caroling mission to the retirement homes and to shut-ins, Valentines and pumpkins to be delivered to our shut-ins, an annual hayride coordinated with the youth group and many other social activities.
We schedule educational and spiritual growth activities throughout the year. We hope that you will join us in making First United Methodist Church an inviting and exciting place for young families!
Watch the Asburian weekly for announcements of upcoming activities. And you can check the bulletin board upstairs across from the elevator by the children's Sunday school assembly room.
We would also like for you to join us in room 402 on Sunday mornings for our Homebuilders Sunday school class. As young families we are interested in issues that concern us-issues of faith, fellowship, values and relationships.
