Other Opportunities

Community Service Projects and helping others are a very important part of the Christian lifestyle. Throughout the year the UMYF participates and volunteers in various service projects. Come share your blessings with others!

ASP 2010
Annual Service Project (ASP) is a mission trip taken each summer. It is a work week planned to provide insight to poverty as well as encouragement and inspiration to do more for those in need. The year we will be going to Perryville, Arkansas to the Heifer Ranch!  The trip is open to all youth who are 12 years old (OR have completed 6th grade) through 12 grade. This trip is currently full, but there is a waiting list if you are interested. Please contact the church office for more details.

The youth also have opportunities to attend United Methodist Camps & Conferences to foster spiritual growth & leadership in youth. Conferences are offered throughout the year and Camps are offered during the summer.

Various Fun Events are planned throughout the year for fellowship and to encourage group building. Some include: lock-ins, movie nights, progressive dinners, game nights, hayrides, Christmas caroling, bowling, overnight trips, Christian music concerts, and on and on... Check out our next event!
